New Application Should Make Acquiring City Properties Easier

Residents have often complained that the process of buying properties from the city or the Detroit Land Bank (DLBA) is filled with obstacles, beginning with an online application that can be clunky and very frustrating. Those complaints have been taken seriously, and the result is a revamped online application that is hopefully more user-friendly, allowing residents to leave and come back to an application, review what they’ve written before submitting it, track the status of their application, and upload supporting documents more easily.
There’s also an interactive map showing residents where there are city properties for sale around the city. Check out the story here.
