Robotics, Karaoke, Improv, and Much More at Brilliant Detroit Summer Camp

Here at the Brilliant Detroit Morningside Hub we were excited to welcome twelve campers for our Sci-Fi Mystery Camp, July 7 to August 14, as well as three “Grow Detroit’s Young Talent (GDYT)” summer employment program participants.

The kids participated in a 3D Makers Space, Improv, Robotics, Science, Detroit Exploration, Math and Literacy tutoring, and much more - all to help avoid that summer slide!

Also, the Morningside Hub was honored to offer four students not participating in summer camp online literacy tutoring during this same time. Our Karaoke Night, field trips to Reading & Rhythm on the Riverfront, and Greenfield Village brought all of the fun for our kiddos and were great learning experiences.

Coming up soon we will have a “Back 2 School Bash” on Tuesday, August 19 from 4 – 6 pm.
