Morningside’s Finest: Davon Travier

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my great pleasure to introduce you to Davon Travier, CEO of Digital Creator Agency.

Davon is one of Morningside’s rising talents in the city of Detroit. Davon is a triple-threat (really a quadruple threat) photographer, videographer, and a producer.

Davon’s talents led him to serve as a Mayoral fellow for Mayor Mike Duggan’s office during 2023. Davon is currently studying at the College of Creative Studies here in Detroit. Davon’s professional and exceptional work has also led to opportunities outside of Detroit and the State of Michigan.

I had the opportunity to meet Davon during the opening week of Morningside Cafe. It was during this time that I got to see firsthand the talents Davon possess.

Davon has conducted several pieces of work for the home of CoffeexVibes. During the unforeseen, attempted break in at the cafe in December 2024, it was Davon’s idea to share the story of what took place. The video reel garnered 15,000 plus views on social media and also caught the attention of local news affiliates (CBS Detroit, WDIV, and WXYZ) here in the city.

Davon is a product of our great community here in Morningside. His talents have led to so many opportunities that he is preparing to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia this summer, as well as preparing to take on a project in Africa. Davon is one of the great people I have had the opportunity to connect with since the cafe has opened. He is more than a consultant or a patron, Davon is a brother that I am extremely proud of.
