Brilliant Detroit Morningside May Update
April Recap:
The Brilliant Detroit Morningside Hub was excited to have hosted the community for our annual Easter Egg Roll on April 18th, 2025 which was sponsored by the Junior League of Detroit (JLD). Kiddos of Morningside had the pleasure to participate in Easter egg hunts, sack races, marshmallow dyeing, planting seeds with our JLD volunteers and even heard an extra special story time from 2024 Miss North America winner Kyla L. Wright.
In May we are pleased to offer a wide array of programming to our Morningside Community!

Join us as we dig into the world’s wonders, from the Deep Sea to dinosaurs, with hands-on activities, games, and stories.
The Walking Club
The Walking Club gathers together as a family for a slow to moderately paced walk right in your neighborhood.
Digital Sherpa
Free one-on-one digital skills training through the Digital Sherpa Program with BLARE created by Patient Empowerment Network.
Power Up Fitness
Join us for a fun energizing 30-minute program designed to keep kids active, strong, and engaged. With a focus on strength, endurance, and social skills, Power Up Fitness helps kids of all fitness levels develop healthy habits, build confidence, and have fun!
Garden Club
Join us as in the Garden Club which is a program intended for the whole family - adults and their children. This program gives adults and kids a chance to learn garden skills together through hands-on activities, garden games, and fun crafts. Garden Club meets every other week starting 05/05 and runs through October.
Family: The Heart of Everything
Join us for this important opportunity to focus on how important your family is. Every family member can participate by talking together about your family’s History, Geography, Responsibilities, Traditions, Songs, Food and Kindness. You and your children will love this!
